Grooveshark's New York operation is seeking a Junior Designer. The Junior Designer will work directly with Grooveshark's North American Sales Team to craft literature, create early-stage mockups, draft presentation decks and documents, and help shape the visual layer of our Sales efforts. The ideal candidate will interface daily with our Sales Team as they receive inbound RFPs from an array of verticals, brands and products.

Responsibilities:

-Design Sales and Marketing materials (newsletters, one-sheets, forms, etc.)

-Work closely with Sales, Marketing and Creative Production Teams to compile proposals and associated creatives.

Requirements:

-Intimately familiar with Apple's iWorks Suite (Pages, Keynote & Numbers)

-Intimately familiar with Microsoft's Office Suite (Word, Powerpoint & Excel)

-Strong experience with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.

-Ridiculously organized. Borderline Obsessive-Compulsive.

-Comfortable working under short deadlines.

-Ability to manage personal time without guidance.

-Ability to remain calm, collected and professional even in the midst of difficult situations.

-College degree in a Design-related field is a plus.

-Love of music, technology, social networking, entertainment, marketing and advertising.

-Very good spoken and written English in order to interact with staff/clients.

-Ability to work under stressful situations and maintain an amiable attitude.
