Who We Are:
www.UnPirate.com. A small, pre-launch web startup looking to change the music industry. Please visit the website for more info on what we're planning to do. We're a team of 3 young, 20-something entrepreneurs with a lot of passion for this company. Currently, we have a marketing guy, operations guy and a rockstar CTO/backend developer. The missing piece here is a great front-end engineer/designer.
Who We Are Looking For:
- Knowledge of JS, JQuery and AJAX techniques.
- Skilled in the clean and functional design of a modern web application. This includes the mastery of CSS and HTML, with CSS3 and HTML5 technologies a major bonus.
- Experience working with rockstar back-end engineers. Our backend is large and complex, written in Python (Django), and although you don't need to know how to code it, it would be very beneficial to have worked closely with coders in the past.
- Passion for music industry and being a part of a startup
Compensation:
For 2-4 months (Depending on length of project), you will be offered a competitive salary. After the contract period is over (and if you are a superstar), we will offer up stake in the company given you are passionate about the idea and produce high quality work.
