Seeking New Media Coordinator. This position will involve significant understanding of NEW MEDIA Department operations on all levels. The ideal candidate is an astute, detail-oriented and poised professional who has a desire to go "above and beyond" expectations and a strong sense of urgency to respond to organization needs.

The organization seeks a person with new media expertise including marketing, sales, specifically in print publishing and business development experience in the marketing and advertising industries, excellent writing skills, and everything in conjunction with growing this department including magazine publishing hard copies and online. Someone who is a leader and who is articulate, collaborative, confident, intelligent, and versatile. Adept at building relationships and securing commitments. Launch new magazines. Posseses a highly entrepreneurial spirit, can keep up, wants to be challenged and is personable, classy and mature.

Responsibilities -- the key responsibilities for this position include:

* Create a comprehensive social media strategy to define programs that use social media marketing techniques to increase visibility, membership and traffic across all XYZ brands and Implement and manage social media programs

* Experiment with new and alternative ways to leverage social media activities ("marketing R&D")

* Monitor trends in social media tools, trends and applications and appropriately apply that knowledge to increasing the use of social media at XYZ

* Strategize with and educate the management team and others across the company on incorporating relevant social media techniques into the corporate culture and into all of the company's products and services

* Measure the impact of social media on the overall marketing efforts

* website development, email marketing, blogs, podcasts, video, SEO, webcasts, Flash, online reputation management, and general strategic and tactical consulting in connection with online marketing programs.

Also:

Must have excellent typing skills, good computer knowledge, particularly with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the internet

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to juggle and complete multiple tasks accurately, promptly, and thoroughly

Must be able to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information

Experience in the internet industry is a huge plus

know CMS tools and implement SEO best practices to optimize web pages for natural search.

Knowledge of and ability to utilize Social Media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, You Tube, and others, as well as forums, blogs and message boards throughout the day.

Knowledge in PowerPoint, and Dreamweaver is very important

Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign and Flash.

New media specialists should have the technical knowledge for producing content for various media channels such as web, print, and multimedia

They should also have a good understanding of html, dynamic html, and Actionscript

They must be creative and have good communication skills, both written and verbal

They must have food technical knowledge for producing content of various media channels like print, web and multi media.

They must be able to create the content in which there is an active participation of the contributors, consumers and the feedback of the users.

They must include 3D animation, music, narration, sound effects and dialogues in their content.

They must be able to combine internet accessible digital text, videos and photos with the web links.
