Amazing opportunity to work for a Music Manager as a Personal Assistant!

45K-55K (commensurate with experience), Fully Paid Benefits (including medial, dental and vision), 401K (eligible after 1 year), all cell phone expenses covered, paid 3 weeks vacation

Manager of an A-list musical artist seeks a hard working, poised, and confident PA with the ability to multi-task and follow-through on responsibilities.

Basic workweek is 40 hours, however, the PA must be available on Blackberry/iPhone 24/7 and must be open to traveling when necessary (primarily to Los Angeles and/or Hamptons).

Ideal candidate can keep up with a very savvy and well-respected Manager who is influential in the music business. The personal assistant will have interaction with high profile people within the industry, and must be comfortable liaising with executives at all levels. Discretion is key! This is an opportunity for someone who has a job or two under their belt but who would like exposure to the music industry.

Responsibilities Include:

Perform duties and carry out responsibilities as requested by the Manager

Manage the home office and coordinate with household staff

Act as the point person between the Manager and all internal and external contacts

Handle telephone calls, emails, letters, proposals, contracts and other forms of correspondence on behalf of the Manager while maintaining records of each item

Organize and maintain Manager's business and personal calendars; setup and coordinate meetings

Handle Manager's travel and logistical arrangements for both business and personal appointments

Assist Manager with all aspects of maintenance of summer home

Coordinates with accountant the timely payments on all invoices and bills.

Requirements:

2 years prior experience as a personal assistant and/or assistant required

Passion for the music/entertainment industry is a must

Bachelor's degree required

Background or experience in communication, marketing or PR a plus

Energetic personality with the desire to get things done and ensure completion of work in required manner

Excellent managerial, organizational, coordination skills with attention to details

Strong capability of prioritizing, multitasking and maintaining composure under pressure with minimal supervision and the ability to stay calm and focused in any situations

Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with all associates

Good understanding of the music industry and how to navigate delicate situations gracefully

Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications and other technologies incl. apple computers/iPhone/iPad

Professional and friendly demeanor; great people skills

Must be comfortable working in a home office setting and able to manage your time efficiently
