REGIONAL CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Regional Chief Financial Officer to partner with senior management and take full control of the financials and accounting operations of US operations.

What are the main responsibilities & tasks?

To prepare monthly Financial Statements on consolidated basis;

To prepare annual, quarterly and half year separate financial statements for all the US subsidiaries and the consolidation of US business prepared in accordance both with US GAAP and IAS/IFRS GAAP;

To manage the relationship with independent auditors;

To manage tax issues for all the US companies;

To manage insurance policies;

To manage treasury for all US subsidiaries and the related relations with the Parent company;

To prepare monthly/quarterly cash flow forecast and month end closing;

To manage intercompany transactions with all the group entities;

To manage the accounting system and related improvements;

To manage the accounting/tax and financial issues of extraordinary transactions (i.e. merger us subsidiaries)

To perform Budget & Forecasting activities;

To monitor business trends using Business Intelligence tools and provide business analysis.

Evaluate business deals and potential opportunities with advertising partners, music companies and carriers

Review and approve all expenditures

Financial oversight of royalties and content reporting

Advise management team and functional departments as needed

Review and approve financial commitments (IO's and firm contracts)

Detect potential issues in the daily business operations and alert the IT department

Supervise finance staff

Oversee the IT department

Plan, organize and coordinate the year end close process with internal and external auditors

Licensing Department

Required skills and experience:

Extensive knowledge of financial analysis and accounting;

BS in Accounting or Finance

Minimum of 8 years of experience

Strong presentation and writing skills;

Comprehensive understanding of the music, content and wireless industries;

Strong analytical, strategic planning and communication skills

MBA and/or professional accreditation such as SPA or SMA is a plus
