Business Partner With Real Estate And/Or Photography Experience (Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill)

I am exploring the feasibility for starting a new service-based business for the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area and want to find a working business partner with photographic and/or real estate (MLS, marketing) experience. What I would like to do is explore the possibility of partnering up with a motivated and like-minded individual to share in the design, implementation, running, and eventual revenue of this startup.

I have the foundation and the mechanism for driving a potentially untapped (local) niche but need to find a partner that can fill in the business gaps or knowledge that I lack. I know that posting to Craigslist sounds very naive, but I assure you that I am serious and have the experience, knowledge, and resources to make this a success.

So, what are the baseline requirements needed to be my business partner?

1. Practical experience with the real-estate sales and marketing for residential and/or commercial.

2. Practical experience with social media and web marketing (nice to have, but not necessary).

3. Proven record of professional success (i.e. have a stable work history).

4. Ability to commit time and energy to this endeavor to make it a success.

5. Ability to communicate well and not afraid of cold calling on businesses.

6. Someone able to share responsibility be accountable for their actions, and willing to go beyond their comfort zone to get the job done.

7. Someone who knows how to project a professional appearance (e.g. tribal piercings bad but tattoos ok within reason. . .in fact if I have to explain it, you probably should stop reading now).

8. Knowledge of the Triangle and surrounding areas plus reliable transportation to reach those areas.

9. Alternate source of income; this may take a while to get running so you'll need to keep the day job for now.

10. Less tangible, but important qualities: a good sense of humor, positive outlook, and self confidence.

What I am NOT looking for in a business partner:

1. This will not be a get rich quick endeavor. The overhead is low but the revenue stream will be slow to start. I am not looking for someone who expects or needs this to be an immediate income or paycheck.

2. I have a strong belief in equality so if you have personal issues with gender, race, nationality, or sexual preference you should probably not bother responding.

3. No need to waste either of our valuable time if you are a smoker, drug user, or have a criminal record.
