Teach UC f credit approved Digital Photography and Digital Imaging courses to high school students, 14-18 years old. Applicants must demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of the subject matter and a variety of effective teaching methods in order to enhance student learning. Experience with the following technical skills required: Photoshop, FLASH, Illustrator, Photography, and 2D experience. Must have artistic background.

Qualifications: 3 years of successful full-time experience in Digital Photography required.

Start Date: Begins April 18 through June 14, 2011. Qualified applicants first round interviews begin February 22. Open until filled.

Full time, 5 hours daily at Fremont area high school. Hours: 7:30 a.m.-2:45 p.m. Monday Friday.

Long-Term Substitute Rate: $33.07 per hour

Must be able to document 3 years full time work experience in the Digital Photography area or 48 college level semester units in the Digital Photography/Imaging field and 1 year full time work experience, of which 1 year of work or related teaching experience must have been in the last 3 years. Must be willing to obtain a Career Technical Education teaching credential, OR possess a Designated Subjects Vocational or Career Technical Education teaching credential in Arts/Media/Entertainment or equivalent.
