GENERAL EXPERIENCE
Five years of experience with project management and operating HD and SD camera systems, lighting and audio equipment for large scale, live and recorded video productions. Extensive understanding of all elements of the production process, management of on-site and freelance crews, preparing budgets, and excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITY:
Plans, directs, and coordinates all aspects of single and multiple camera productions. Evaluates and recommends the creative interpretation of live action videography for a variety of short and long form videos. Selects appropriate camera systems, lenses, lighting instruments and audio recording equipment. Creates visual effects using depth of field, filters, frame rate, lighting, framing, and camera movement to enhance the artistic value of each production. Operates HD and SD camers, complex lighting systems, and audio recording equipment for studio and field productions. Maintains quality control of all aspects of the production process using waveform and vectorscope monitors, and other audio and video monitoring equipment and software. Provides recommendations to the AO Broadcast Manager on the selection of production equipment, including cameras, lenses, pedestals/tripods, lighting instruments, monitors and audio microphones and mixers. Maintains a working relationship with the AO Broadcast Manager, Contracting Officer and COTR, and serves as the liaison with the Contractor's headquarters in the absence of the on-site Production Manager.
MINIMUM EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
