Full-Time Digital Retoucher/Digital Illustrator for a commercial photography studio in NW Portland.
Program/Software Knowledge:
Photoshop (must be advanced), Bridge, Capture One, Phocus and Illustrator
General:
We are looking for someone who is upbeat, proactive and creative, with an appetite for visual challenges. Should have a strong photographic background and an interest in digital illustration. Graphic Designers need not apply. Must be detail oriented with a drive to make an image the best it can be. Need to be able to work independently, but also function well within a team, on or off set. Organizational and multi-tasking skills are very important. Must be able to work well under pressure and with tight deadlines.
Skills:
Fundamental - Must have proficiency in clipping paths, compositing, color correction and retouching. Need to understand color management, profiling and proofing. Also need an understanding of the digital photographic process, with digi-tech experience a strong plus.
Creative - Should be able to interpret creative intent from layouts or comps into a photographic vision. Must be able to speak with knowledge and professionalism to clients, and be able to collaborate with photographers and art directors.
