A commercial photography studio in the south bay is seeking freelance photo assistants. Part time or full time employment possible in the near future if we find a good fit. We shoot products, people, lifestyle, landscape, stock, etc.
Tasks include: Assisting in studio and on location, errands, some digital post production, archiving, digital asset management, keywording, inkjet printing (portfolios, promotional material), clean and organize studio, maintain equip, etc. Potential for growth into second shooter.
Requirements:
Ability to do moderate to heavy lifting (approx. 50lb, loading van, help moving products, props, etc.)
Comfortable driving full size van (not a moving truck)
Good attention to detail and highly motivated
College degree in related field or similar real world experience
Some experience with the following:
o Photoshop
o Lightroom
o Media Pro
o Capture One Pro
o Epson Pro large format printers
o Mac platform
o Large format, medium format & Canon digital cameras
o Profoto & Dyna-Lite lighting equip
Person would ideally have 1+ years working experience, be organized, and great people skills to work directly with clients
Will need a background check and valid driver's license
