Regional photomagazine headquartered in the South is seeking ONE semi-experienced (amateur-bordering-professional okay) who is able to work remotely and who wants to become a respected voice and marketing manager for museum, gallery, and fine art photography advertising in the Southern quadrant of the United States.
Our magazine, digital platform and print edition is less than a year old, but already is receiving more than 250,000 page views every month.
We provide:
- complete databases of sales leads,
- sales and marketing research, press-releases, blog-entry and sales support,
- access to some of the most sought-out gallery and museum opening events,
and
- the chance to grow with a company that appreciates your talent, and compensates you accordingly.
Attributes desired/required: PMA, leadership, team player, hard worker, and graphic-design/advertising-layout problem solver.
You will be in charge of an entire target-market territory of artists and intellectuals comprising sixteen Southern states.
What we will NOT do is micromanage your outreach efforts or tell you how to work your territory.
Applicants with Fine Art, Photojournalism, Art History or Art-Focused Web Development backgrounds have a huge inside track.
Ability to communicate in aesthetics and visual arts is absolutely the most important thing.
Compensation basis through 2012 will be uncapped commission-driven independent contractor/1099, and will convert to uncapped commission-driven W-2 with matching withholding in 2013.
