Photographer's Administrative, Marketing and Image Processing Assistant
I'm a pro photographer whose assistant is moving out of town. This is not an opening for a traditional assistant -- it doesn't involve help in the studio or setting lighting and such. Pay will be determined via bid from the assistant for groupings of work provided by the photographer, ie the assistant will receive a list of tasks to cover a month's work and be expected to bid the cost to the photographer to complete those tasks. Photographer will provide a prioritized task list. Work will be a combination of completed at the assistant's home and the photographer's home office.
Photographer plans on the assistant working about 16 hours a week. The position also offers the opportunity to observe business operations of a sole practioner photographer, so it's a good fit for someone with those aspirations.
