North American Theatrical Photographers is the industry leader in photography of performing arts students. We have a 35+ year history of providing photography services across 18 states.

We currently need 1 full or part-time representative in the central Texas area. This is completely a customer service/sales position - no photography background is required. Applicants must be free to travel the state as needed and have reliable transportation. Schedules are Monday through Friday only - no weekends.

NATP provides photography products and services to specific organizations in exchange for the opportunity to offer photographs to the member families. The great majority of the work we do is in schools but we are not "school photographers". We work with students who are part of organizations that instill pride in both the students and the organizations in which they are members. All work is done on location with parents - we do not work directly with students. Parents come to the schools in the evenings to view our work and place their orders. All customer contact is handled from our main office and through the organization's instructors or sponsors. Photo representative duties include arriving promptly at a location, explaining package and design options to customers, helping customers put together orders, organizing orders for processing, and shipping all work back to the main office weekly. Hours are generally in the afternoons/evenings (3pm-8pm is typical). Sleep late but absolutely be on time.

Compensation is commission on sales with commission rates starting at 14%. Full-time photo reps generally net $600-$1100/wk.. Sales histories are used to check minimum sales levels at previous shoot locations before rescheduling an organization to be photographed. This part of our scheduling process assists us in qualifying groups for continued availability of our program and minimizes the possibility of low sales for both the company and the salesperson.

We are looking for someone who will represent our company in a professional and friendly way. If you have previous experience in customer service or photo sales it is a definite plus but not required - we will train the right person.
