Intern needed for Brite Productions and Vincent Dixon photography:

We are looking for a Fall intern to assist with various studio duties 1- 2 days per week starting immediately.

Main responsibilities:

- scanning on Imacon flextight

- light retouching

- office organization

-social media updates and innovation

Secondary responsibilities:

-printing and file prep for portfolio

-research and ordering/ updating photographic equipment as necessary

-light assisting on shoot days in NYC

We are a fast paced advertising studio based in heart of NYC. This unique opportunity offers exposure to a premiere advertising photographer and photographers agent located in the same space. This balance gives an excellent exposure to all sides of advertising from portfolio production, printing, scanning, website updating, book design, photo assisting with high end digital equipment, file management and archiving, as well as exposure to the bidding process, legal and photo usage rights, producing large scale shoots (both locally and internationally).

Our ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter, that is capable of taking direction and finding ways to problem solve when necessary. A strong dedication to photography and desire to develop new skills is a must. Technically proficient and detailed oriented is a plus.

We expect a high level of proficiency with Mac OSX, and the following programs: Adobe creative suite, Lightroom, Imacon Flextight and Microsoft office . We offer MetroCard, a lunch stipend and school credit if applicable.
