Responsibilities include:
- Operating the latest in large format inkjet photo printers; printing photographs, in-store promotional materials and other reproductions.
- Responsible for maintaining printer functionality and keeping paper, ink cartridges and maintenance tanks in stock.
- Packaging & mailing printed material to stores and vendors in addition to keeping an accurate shipping record.
- Keeping print room organized and clean.
Requirements:
- BA or BFA in Photography, Art, Digital Imaging OR equivalent in-depth knowledge of photography/art reproduction/printing experience
- In-depth knowledge of photographic digital workflow and printing techniques from Adobe Photoshop
- Knowledge of ICC Profiles and subtractive color theory
- Fluent with Mac and PC platforms/troubleshooting
- Fluent with other Adobe applications (InDesign, Illustrator, Bridge, Lightroom, etc.)
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
A Plus:
- Experience with large format Canon, Epson, and HP photo (pigment & dye) printers
- Experience with I1 Spectrophotometers
- A keen creative eye for contemporary photography, art and trends
- Experience with the Gallerie Wrap system/canvas stretching
- Experience with picture framing/archival print storage methods
- Familiarity with social networking/Internet trends
