Wild Honey Social Media seeks a photography intern to photograph Boston pubs for a pub finder mobile application.
Wild Honey Social Media is a small entrepreneurial firm with a proven track record of rapid growth--which leads to new opportunities for all staff. We build marketing applications for the restaurant, hotel and residential industries that are both web and social media-based.
We need 100 pubs photographed before Thanksgiving. All are in the Boston area. You will provide your own transportation. The pay is modest, just $8/hour. You need to be able to start this week. While we can provide a camera, it would be best if you had your own.
Responsibilities include:
Work with creative director to determine photography format for pub exterior, interior, bartender and social life
Photograph pubs and upload images into content management system
Collect basic pub facts for data base
Skills and experience:
Basic computer skills to upload files
Photoshop for retouching
Mac OS X
Art school or computer science experience
Bonus skills:
Adobe InDesign
Environment:
The environment is casual, fast-paced and passionate. The office is unconventional, set in a Beacon Hill town house. This is not a sterile corporate cube kind of place. Bike to work, wear shorts in the summer, etc.
