America's Best Sports Photography, the premier provider of sports photography in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, is looking for a select group of highly motivated photographers for the Mavericks 2012 season and for our Spring sports leagues. This is a fun, high-energy job that entails taking photos and interacting with fans and players at sporting events. This is an amazing place to work and an opportunity to get into sports events and marketing. In this role, you will execute all aspects of fan photography at the Mavericks home games in the American Airlines Center. We also need photographers and sales people to work youth sports leagues for team and individual photography. You will also ensure that your work exhibits the highest level of professionalism and customer service as you represent ABSP.
While preferred, no photography experienced is needed. You must be comfortable with meeting and selling to fans at all levels. If you are shy, this will not be the job for you.
You must be energetic, enthusiastic, outgoing, self-motivated, reliable and must enjoy interacting with customers in a professional manner. You must also have a passion for capturing special memories that people will cherish. We are willing to train the right individuals. This is a part time job. Events and games are held mostly in the evening and weekends. We work in a fast paced environment and you will need to spend long periods of time on your feet walking all over the event site.
Requirements and Skills:
Experience working in retail or customer service
Strong time management skills, ability to prioritize, multi-task, make decisions under time constraints, meet deadlines
Extremely professional demeanor
Driven -- results oriented
Self starter and independent with the ability to work efficiently with limited supervision
Strong attention to detail
Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills
