Industrial Color is seeking full-time digital capture technicians who are committed to innovating digital photo and video workflows and providing photographers and clients with the absolute best digital still and video capture service in the industry.

Duties:

Research, test, pack, deliver and set up equipment for photo and video shoots.

Establish and maintain a smooth and secure workflow based on client needs.

Manage capture, processing, back up, printing and delivery of images and video on set.

Calibrate EQ, troubleshoot cameras, digital backs, systems and software.

Ensure that RAW images are color balanced, exposed, adjusted and processed to meet creative vision and technical specifications.

Perform light layout/ creative retouching on set.

Transfer files to hard drives, DVD/CD, local servers, FTP sites and the web.

Eagerness to work according to the high-end photo lifestyle that includes long hours, weekends and extensive travel.

General Tasks:

Develop strong photographer / client relationships.

Perform maintenance on machines.

Work closely with internal team to innovate systems and workflow.

Collaborate with creative crews and advise on achieving best capture results as needed.

Technical Requirements:

Knowledge of and/or experience with medium format cameras, all major digital backs and high-end DSLR cameras.

Knowledge of and/or experience with high end digital video cameras such as the Red One and Panasonic P2 formats.

Strong understanding of lighting and photography, both technically and creatively.

Mastery of Capture One and Leaf Capture image processing software.

Basic knowledge of Final Cut Pro & After Effects

Familiar with OS X 10.0 -10.4.X, and Apple hardware: G5, G4, and Intel.

Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Lightroom, Quark, InDesign, File Maker and FTP software.

Printing experience with RGB and CMYK files.

Experience working with servers and raids a plus.

Skills & Experience:

On-set experience working with top photographers.

Bachelor's degree in Photography or related field of study (min 3.0 gpa)

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Experience with film and traditional photographic processes and creative styles.

Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems quickly under pressure.

Proven success in deadline driven environments.

Valid drivers license and passport required.
