Thriving commercial photography studio is seeking a full-time Producer/Studio Manager.
Experience in production or project management required; ideal candidate is energetic, upbeat, and proactive, with an excellent ability to multi-task, a strong work ethic, and a desire to make a significant contribution in a busy, creative atmosphere.
Key areas of responsibility include:
Production
- Schedule all projects + maintain master studio calendar
- Conduct weekly production meetings with crew
- Client liaison: receive comps, product samples, shot lists + review with crew
- Hire + manage freelance crew members
- Talent casting + booking
- Generate project estimates, open jobs + manage budgets
- Location permitting + coordination
- Create crew sheets + shoot schedules
- Invoice all projects and participate in job costing and profitability analysis
Studio Management
- Phones + Deliveries
- Studio maintenance
- Order + stock all supplies, food, + beverages
- Cater meals + snacks on all shoot days
Requirements
-Photo Shoot Production Experience
-Bachelors Degree in Related Field or practical equivalent work experience
-Proficient in Word, Excel, File Maker Pro type databases and Mac Platforms
-Experience and knowledge in FTP file transfers
