Video Production and Photography Intern

Independent Video Production & Photography Studio seeks dynamic, ambitious, creative intern. This position requires an extremely well organized, sharp individual who wants to learn the ins and outs of boutique style video production and photography. As this is an internship, many of the tasks will be tedious and/or mundane. Must be able to maintain a positive outlook and demeanor thru-out and contribute to positive outcomes for all projects and tasks. The focus of the internship will mostly be with the Video Production Department, however photography skills are a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ideal candidate would be studying film production.

Must be familiar with NLE software preferably Final Cut Pro. Premiere and FCPX experience a plus.

Must be familiar with Photoshop. Illustrator experience a plus.

Competence with a DSLR in both video and still modes a plus.

Must be proficient with various forms of Social Media (Facebook, newsletters, website and blog updating etc).

Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills a must.

Must be very proactive, creative and able to take initiative to complete multiple varied tasks.

Must be able to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines with extreme attention to detail.

An interest in design, film, photography and other forms of art appreciated.

DETAILS:

3-6 month program and can be renewed with approval.

10-20 flexible hours per week.

Interns must be 18+ and have own reliable transportation.

If needed we will work with you and your school on obtaining course credit.
