The open Wedding Sales Consultant position would include contacting couples who have indicated they are interested to set up an appointment, then meeting with engaged couples and explaining the packages and services offered by our studio. During the conversation you get to know the couple and what their wedding day will look like. You will use that information to show them which packages would suit them best. This is such a fun time for the couple, and you get to be a part of it!

The ideal candidate would be available to schedule meetings that work with the couple's schedule, which are usually evenings from 5pm-9pm, Saturdays, and Sundays as needed.

Each consultation will include:

--Meeting with engaged couples to talk about photography and video services that we can offer

--Providing a great sales experience

--Following up with your clients

**NO COLD CALLING--YOU ARE ONLY SENT CONTACT INFORMATION AFTER A COUPLE REQUESTS THAT WE CONTACT THEM TO SET UP AN APPOINTMENT DURING YOUR AVAILABLE HOURS!

As a consultant, you would also represent George Street at various events such as Bridal Shows, Wedding Industry Parties, etc.

Finally, this position would require determining the most desired vendors to network with in the Wedding Industry in your area. Once those vendors are determined, you would supply them with our vendor brochures and follow up with them to see what networking opportunities are available.

This is a great position for someone who is a stay at home parent looking for work they can fit around their schedule, or would like to supplement another part-time time job nearby, or would like to increase their sales experience in a low pressure environment. The commission opportunities are limitless and variable based on the amount of time you are able to devote to the position.

EDUCATION

- College Degree Preferred

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- 1-2 years sales or customer service background

- Strong work ethic and customer focus orientation

- The ability to "self start" and work independently

PREFERRED

- Knowledge of the Bridal / Wedding Industry

- Worked in a high-growth environment

- Experienced Networker

REQUIRED SKILLS

- Outgoing, fun personality

- Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills

- Excellent follow-up skills

- Experience in utilizing a personal computer for day to day business correspondence.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
